Welcome
This site carries information for existing and new residents. Every year brings a number of new residents to the Estate and the Committee extends a warm welcome to you all. If you have recently moved here, whether you are an owner or a tenant, please contact the Secretary or Treasurer so that we can update our records.
The Association & Holding Company
The Association is the beneficial owner of The Oxshott Way Estate Holdings Ltd (the Company) which in turn owns the Estate roads, verges, common areas and infrastructure. The Committee of the Association is elected by the residents with a mandate to represent the interests of all of the residents on the Estate. The elected members of the Committee of the Association are also directors of the Company (the Directors).

Money is spent by the Company on the following:
With effect from 1st January, 2007, the Association delegated to the Company the role of maintaining the Estate. The Directors who carry out this work are unpaid, volunteer residents.
Association membership is automatic on purchase of a house on the Estate and an annual subscription which funds the Company's work is levied on all members. Money is spent by the Company on the following:
- the maintenance, sweeping, and repair of roads (we have recently completed a full resurfacing programme costing some £250,000).
- the regular clearing of drains.
- the care and replanting of trees on verges and islands, and the general maintenance of islands.
- the maintenance of gates, signs and lights.
- planning matters - The Association / Company plays an active role in monitoring and, where necessary, fighting planning applications and developments as far as their potentially detrimental effect upon the general amenities of the Estate is concerned.
In these ways the Association has for over 60 years been able to:
- Uphold the rural character and beauty of the Estate, making it such a desirable place to live;
- Keep our facilities functioning adequately; and
- Because it is managed by residents, keep subscriptions at a level below that of other estates of similar calibre.
The Committee / Directors hope that all residents will play an active role in maintaining the ambience and quality of the Estate, observing the rules and guidelines that help this to be achieved.
