December 2011

There was a great turnout for the Christmas Carol Concert. We hope that everyone had a good time, and also a very good Christmas. Best wishes for the New Year.

Christmas Carol Concert

The Christmas Carol Concert, with the Cobham Brass Band, will take place on Sunday 11th December at 4:30pm outside 11 Harebell Hill.

Refreshments will be served. We look forward to seeing you and we wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year.

[ Regarding the weather: We are keeping our fingers crossed, but we do have 1 or possibly 2 gazebos as a backup. However if the weather is very bad we will need to cancel. We will make a decision around 2:30 on the Sunday. If the event is cancelled we will update the website. ]

November 2011

New Committee Members needed.  The estate relies on a 'volunteer committee', we currently have 6 members whereas we normally aim to have 8.  If you have a little spare time and would like to get involved, please contact a member of the committee (see the contacts page).

 October 2010 - Tree Planting

The first of two new batches of trees have been planted on the estate.  Thanks go to Ann Dunbar and Esther Forder for all the planing and organisation work required.

The second batch are due to be planted in March.

For information, all of the trees have been supplied by Barchams who offer an excellent selection of good quality, ready to plant, trees (www.barcham.co.uk/).

June 2010 - Summer Social - Update

Many thanks to Jeannie Gordon and 'the Girls' for an excellent Summer Social!   There were many more attendees than expected and the event was generally considered Excellent - a very good success!

Jeannies 'girls' should be warmly thanked for there help in organising this event, they are: Lin, Sarah, Anne, Kat, Lis, Lynne, Meryl and, last but not least, NickyMany thanks to 'the Girls'  - we would be lost withouth you !

Email Addresses: We hope to arrange another, similar, event next summer.  To make this easier we need the email addresses of all residents.  (We will send out timely reminders; we will not inundate you with email.)

To collect the missing email addreses's we will probably need to call ' house to house' - our apologies in advance for any inconvenience - this is likely to happen in Autumn 2010.
